Strategy for Software Test Automation Using Various Tools on Different Platforms

Most of the software companies often use automation tools to check that their applications are working correctly before deploying it into the system. The term test automation software refers to the use of software tools that controls the execution of the tests and comparing the actual outcomes with the expected outcomes.

The computers generate automated software testing and provide execution elements like test data generation, file and database comparisons and analysis of test results.

There are automated testing tools for software that decide whether the software is free from bugs or not. The automation tools identify the stress issues such as Mean time to failure(MTTF) and mean time between failures(MTBF) for the software code developed and executed by programmers.

It may not be effective to find out the errors manually in a software application since it takes a lot of time in finding different classes of defects. Test automation is a set of computer programs to test and find defects in software applications effectively and quickly.

Different GUI automated testing tools like Mercury, QTP, Winrunner, Rational Robot are used on different software environments and programming languages like java, .net etc.

To achieve success and growth for a software project proper planning must be done for preparing a test Automation strategy that helps companies check their working of the software application.
