The central nervous system is the important element of the nervous system which helps the body to do several critical functions. Its well being is very important for the effective functioning of the other body parts. To maintain a healthy system it is important to follow some healthy exercises which helps the nervous system to function normally. Physical exercises are meant for physical uplifting and are only useful for a healthy body. But when coming to the healthy mind, yoga is found to be the effective medicine to make it more powerful.

As the power and the activeness of the body depends upon the power and health of the brain that is the central nervous system, yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation are found to be very helpful for maintaining a healthy and powerful brain. Naukasana(the ship pose): This posture should be done regularly to reap the maximum benefits. This posture involves raising the body from both the sides and will look like the shape of a boat. This pose should be maintained for a considerable time. With this pose the spine becomes healthy, which plays an vital role in vitality and rejuvenation. The spine becomes more flexible through yoga asanas. This helps in the effective functioning of the nervous system. This increases blood flow to the brain and also helps in making the brain more and more sharper.
