Buying a Used Car

Recently I bought a used car from the local dealer. Initially, I thought of buying a new car, but when I consulted my friends and the auto dealers, they suggested that buying a used car is more advantageous than buying a new one, and they shared their experiences regarding that. But I am not sure about that, I don’t know how a used car suits me and how it would be.

I wanted to do some research on this before taking a decision on this. I read magazines, went through some sites online and consulted the auto experts on this thing. They all said buying a used car will have both the plus and minus issues. I’m placing the two important points below which might be helpful to you in taking a decision if you are thinking of buying a car.

First thing is buying a used car saves money of considerable amount with out giving a big difference about the car. It is a wise option of those who has a tight budget.

However, there is no assurance that the used car you will purchase is still in good working condition or has the right mileage. There is also no guarantee that the car has been properly maintained and has no-accident history. It would be better if you knew the car’s history since it was bought new.

So take a decision based on your needs and wants. All the best.

UNESCO

United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations established on 16 November 1945. Its stated purpose is to contribute to peace and security by promoting international collaboration through education, science, and culture in order to further universal respect for justice, the rule of law, and the human rights and fundamental freedoms proclaimed in the UN Charter. It is the heir of the League of Nations' International Commission on Intellectual Cooperation.
UNESCO has 193 Member States and 6 Associate Members. The organization is based in Paris, with over 50 field offices and many specialized institutes and centres throughout the world. Most of the field offices are "cluster" offices covering three or more countries; there are also national and regional offices. UNESCO pursues its objectives through five major programmes: education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, culture, and communication and information. Projects sponsored by UNESCO include literacy, technical, and teacher-training programmes; international science programmes; the promotion of independent media and freedom of the press; regional and cultural history projects, the promotion of cultural diversity; international cooperation agreements to secure the world cultural and natural heritage and to preserve human rights; and attempts to bridge the world-wide digital divide.

Choosing A Best Credit Card

It is true that credit cards are indeed a very simple way of borrowing money, but when choosing a credit card for yourself there are a couple of things you need to consider first. With a little research and some good judgment, you could save up on a lot of money in fees and interest.

Like most other people, you use your credit card to borrow money and don’t plan on paying off your monthly balance entirely, and then it is time to look for a credit card that has one of those introductory 0% interest rates on purchases. Here are a couple of pointers to help you choose a credit card:
  • Balance Transfers – If you have balance on your credit card, then you can convert this into a 0% deal. However, this deal will only be applicable for a certain amount of time or until the balance is paid off in full. So, if you are planning on making any purchase on your credit card, you should first check to see what the interest rate is before you get charged. Also check if any fee is charged for transferring the balance.
  • Rewards – There are many credit card offers and incentives like loyalty points and cash back that are offered by many credit cards today. These are offered to attract new clients, as they seem like good deals. However, it is advisable to first check the rates of interest charged as the levels of cash back are generally very low and since you will be paying higher interest, this equation wont balance out. With such rewards like loyalty points, it isn’t worth paying higher interest rates if you are not planning on redeeming them or if their monitory value is relatively low. There are many credit cards with interest free periods.
  • Repayments – The monthly minimum repayment amount on most credit cards range anywhere from 2% to 5%. If you choose a credit card that has low minimum monthly repayments, then you should know that it could take you a pretty long time to pay back that balance, which in turn will cost you more in the bargain. However, if at all you miss a monthly payment deadline, then you will probably be penalized. The best way to avoid the risk of a missed payment is to go ahead and set up a direct debit for the minimum monthly payment amount However, if the funds are insufficient in order for the direct debit to be paid, then you will have to face the penalty fee.
  • Cash – If you feel the need to withdraw cash from your credit card, then first check the rate of interest being charged. This will always be higher than the interest rate applied for ordinary purchase

Getting Your First Tattoo

Getting your first tattoo can be both exciting and nerve-racking. But, there are a number of things you can do to make it easier on yourself.
  • One of the most important things, when deciding to get that first tattoo, is to find a reputable tattoo parlor. Stay away from unlicensed places, or tattoo artists who work out of their homes. Chances are that their standards may not be as high as those of licensed parlors. Ask friends about their experiences and be sure to visit the parlor. While there, look around and talk to the artists. Is the parlor clean? Are the artists willing to talk about procedures and cleanliness? Make an appointment if you like what you see.
  • Before booking an appointment, you'll want to look at lots of designs so you get the right one. Tattoo My Brain has a huge selection of designs of every type to choose from. You really can't go wrong with this site. Once you find the one you want, print it off and bring it into the tattoo parlor. Ask to see samples of the tattoo artists' work so you can choose an artist who has a style that matches your expectations. Does one of the artists' specialize in the type of tattoo you are looking for? At this point get a price estimate. It wouldn't hurt to visit several parlors to get a few other prices just so you can compare.
  • As the time approaches for your appointment, get your body ready. Put lots of lotion on the spot you have chosen for your tattoo in the week before you are to have it done. Drink lots of water too. Well-moisturized, hydrated skin is easier to tattoo. Avoid drinking or taking aspirin for a few days prior to your appointment. Both alcohol and aspirin are blood thinners, so style, design, if you have these in your system, you'll bleed a lot more when you are getting your tattoo, and this makes it more difficult for the artist to work.
  • Try to schedule your appointment on a day when you will have lots of time to get the tattoo. This takes some of the stress and pressure off of you, as you won't be worrying about time constraints. It also avoids rushing the artist. Depending on how complex and how many colors are being applied, you may have to make more than one visit.
  • Getting a tattoo is painful. Some people have a lower tolerance for pain than others. In any case there will be some discomfort, so be prepared and try to relax. Maybe bring your IPod to listen to, a magazine to read, or video game to play. Keeping yourself occupied will help pass the time more quickly and make you less aware of pain.

Be sure to follow the after- care recommendations that your artist will give you, in order for your tat to heal properly. When your tattoo has healed, pay a return visit to the parlor to show your artist. He or she will be able to schedule your next appointment if you're getting more work done, or even do a touch-up if needed. If you follow these suggestions getting your first tattoo will be no problem.
