Know About Gaucho Pants for Women

Gaucho pants were a fashion trend in 1950s and the 1960s. Initially they are similar to capris, they were used as a casual attire and were disregarded as formal wear, as the snug clothing was uncomfortable due to the heat and later they were modified and made into a looser version of capri pants. This version gained popularity for a while and women consider the longer gaucho pants as formal attire too. Gaucho pants are available in different colors and styles.

Gaucho pants are clothing for women and these pants are mostly high waist which end a little below the knee. They are wide leg pants which are loose from the thigh to the knee seam. The waist for the gaucho pants is generally thick and wide and the loops to fasten the belt may be present or may not. These pants are extremely comfortable, mainly because they are loose and airy. They are suitable for any body type of women. They can be also paired with sneakers and a sporty jacket for a trekking trip and the gaucho pants can be worn with a smart shirt and can be worn also as a semi casual office attire. One can pair printed gaucho pants with a plain t-shirt and a bandana for a completely Bohemian look.

Corduroy gauchos are suitable for winter season as they are made of wool and for summer it is better to opt for a pair of gauchos which are made up of linen or even silk. Gauchos can be worn for workplace or for playing when they are paired with a complementary pair of shoes and shirt.
